Lil’Bit continues to fight the war on waste and chooses NOT to include a scoop within this pouch - use an existing scoop from another product or a standard measuring tablespoon.
Suitable for all makes and models.
A Lil'Bit goes a long way too with each 1kg bag providing 50 loads at teeny 33c each!
The pouch is the same I use for the Rosalina Toilet Cleaning tablets and is 100% home compostable with labels made from recycled paper and printed in soy based ink.
Directions:
Place 1 Tablespoon (or 20g/ml) of powder into your dishwasher’s detergent compartment and choose a cycle as normal. For extra large loads we recommend adding 1 scoop to the bottom of the machine.
Concentrated Eucalyptus Dishwasher Powder 1kg
For those of you who live in areas of hard water you may find your glasses often come out of a cycle with a milky, film-like residue - these are minerals like calcium and magnesium and you may need an extra rinse aid or simply to add white vinegar to the rinse aid compartment to help tackle the issue. This is not caused by the product and is common among all eco brands.
Many bigger, commercial brands, even the eco ones, have pretty powerful rinse aids and/or other chemicals that deal with the excess minerals etc from the water preventing the cloudiness.
Deep cleaning your dishwasher (sounds funny I know) can also help as the same minerals build up in the pipes and hoses and find their way into the main area. Clean it by adding 2C of white vinegar in a bowl on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and run a normal hot cycle and wait for the heating/drying to finish.
Then sprinkle 1C of bicarb at the bottom of the washer and run another hot cycle - this seems wasteful but only needs doing every 6 months. This can help clear the hoses, pipes etc.
